Role within the project:

Our research projects investigate, through a complex system approach, the social behaviors in group living animals to develop bio-inspired and biomimetic models of collective intelligence to apply them to collective robotics, smart buildings and smart networks of production and consumption of energy. In ASSISIbf, our goal is to model the collective decision-making mechanism of fish populations to design bio-inspired models of behaviours for social artificial systems. We also plan to design experimental bio-hybrid social systems composed of robots and animals collaborating to make choices.
